People behind this
wonderful institute are selfless individuals, who set up
their businesses in Vapi in late sixties and early
seventies, saw the needs for the community, and started
Rotary Club of Vapi in 1971. These individuals then set
their eyes on developing world class infrastructure for
the people of this community and started ROFEL - Rotary
Foundation for Education and Learning in 1983. ROFEL is
a charitable trust, which is currently running 12
different courses in two different campuses. The
constituents of this trust are -

Prof. Raja is the ex-Director of
the Institute and associated with the institute since
inception. His area of interest is Marketing. Presently
he is Director emeritus.

MBA - Masters in Business Administration Program: G R I
M S started its activities in 1999 with AICTE's approval
to run the two year full time MBA programme of South
Gujarat University. This programme has an intake
capacity of 120. The curriculum has been designed by the
university on the guidelines received from University
Grant Commission (UGC).

Infrastructure-
Rasikbhai Meswani's Learning
Resource Center-
A centrally air conditioned computerized library with
advanced conferencing facility (5100 sq. ft. floor area)
. As a gateway to business and general information
resources, the GRIMS library would represent a
comprehensive collection of books, company and industry
information, news sources online, general reference
books, a good selection of periodicals of both general
appeal and special functional interest, and links of
community interest. Its services will include an
inter-library loan scheme, reference services,
bibliographical services and on-line database catalogue
services. The computerized library of GRIMS has a rich
collection of books (4500 books), subscription to 49
Indian and foreign periodicals, and has 160 educational
CD ROM titles and CMIE Database. The library is
currently open for 72 hours a week for six days a week.

Shri G.M. Bilakhia Computer
Education Centre (computer applications and training
center)-
It is located within the campus and is equipped
with state-of-the-art equipment, software and Wireless
Internet Connection(Radio Connectivity) for the use of
students and faculties. The following licensed software
packages are in use in the Computer Center: MS Office
Premium & Professional, MS Visual Studio, MS Windows NT
Server & Workstation, MS Windows 2000 Server &
Professional,MS Exchange Server 2000, McAfee Total Virus
Defense, and Novell Netware. Presently it has 52 nodes
(mostly P-VI), which are likely to be increased to 60
No. shortly.

Accomodation /
Hostel Facilities -
The nature of the course and instructional methodology
demands the students to invest long hours of work in
groups, consulting library, case discussion, etc. By
considering these features, residence in hostel has been
made compulsory for all the students. Separate hostels
for boys and girls are located on the campus. Hostel
rooms are fitted with LAN connection and there is a
provision for installing ACs. Some of the rooms have
attached baths and toilets.
