MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

On 2nd august, district event membership development seminar was hosted by rotary club of vapi and PP Rajneesh Anand was the event chairman. The event was a great success and it was attented by 198 members in all from all 29 clubs. The chief guest was Prid Kalyan Banerjee and key note speaker was rrmc was Rajesh Batra. District governor Major Sharma and pdg Bharat Solanki were very happy with the arrangements and success of the event.

Dsp d j patel, came as a guest speaker in rotary club of vapi.

He spoke for 40 minutes on yoga and its advantages.

The meeting was attended by as many 80 members and their Families.

District superintendant of police Mr. Patel had deep insight in the yogic practice and presented a concise on all versions of yoga.

SPEAKER MEETING OF PDG PRATAP GOKULDAS FROM COIMBATORE

Vibrant and eloquent speaker pdg pratap gokuldas visited vapi on 10th dec,2009 and visited the permanent projects of haria rotary hospital and rofel colleges. He was very impressed by the monumental projects. Later in the evening he addressed the club and expressed his feelings and his views of rotary club of vapi. He also gave an insight into the projects that are done by the coimbatore rotary clubs. The meeting was attended by more than 50 rotarians.

FEB 11 PDG ASHISH ROY

PDG Ashis Roy addressed the club on 11th feb,2010. He gave presentation on montreal convention and as many as 20 rotarians have showed the eagerness to go the montreal.

PDG Ashis is the chairman of montreal promotion committee and he was very eager that many members should go to montreal and should register before 15th march.2010

ROTARIANS FROM COCHIN AND COIMBATORE ON 11TH AND 12TH NOV, 2009

Dist gov with senior rotarians from dist 3201 visited vapi and wanted to see the permanent projects of rotary club of vapi. They saw the haria rotary hospital, rofel colleges and visited dang district and appreciated the tribal welfare projects. They attended the club meeting, dist governor capt matthews addressed the club and the flags were exchanged. Interdistrict exchange of teams and doctors were proposed and they donated two dialysis machines to the hospital.

SPEAKER MEETING OF19TH NOVEMBER, 2009, SPEAKER HIMADRI SINHA

Mr. Himadri Sinha was a speaker, a trainer and a personality par excellence. His ortary skills will left us spell bound and he is a hard core beleiver of change and persuit for excellence. He spoke in favour of time management in need to change. There were more than 50 members in the meeting and every member appreciated the talk.

SPEAKER MEETING ON 26TH NOVEMBER, 2009 BY DR MEVADA ON HIV /AIDS

Dr. Ashok Mevara is the chief medical officer and vice president of reliance industries, surat and head of hiv centre managed by the trust of reliance industries. They treat more than 2000 hiv cases and give free medicines to the aids patients. He addressed the rotarians of rotary club of vapi and gave and insight in the development of hiv and aids in india. He cleared the common doubts in the minds of the members. Candles were lit by all the members in remembrance of the people who lost lives in the terrorist attack in mumbai exactly a year ago.
